Anonymous website analytics
We use a small amount of first-party, anonymous traffic measurement to understand whether the laboratory website is being used.
What is collected
- Aggregated page-view counts by day, public page and approximate country.
- A one-way anonymous visitor hash used only to estimate unique visitors.
- Obvious crawlers and monitoring clients are excluded where identifiable.
- If you submit an optional Resource enquiry, your name, contact details and message are stored for the lab team to review.
What is not collected
- No advertising trackers or third-party advertising analytics.
- No full IP address is stored.
- No personal profile or advertising identifier is created for analytics.
Who can view the statistics and enquiries
Country, page and trend reports, as well as submitted Resource enquiries, are available only to signed-in website administrators. Traffic records are retained for approximately 400 days. Enquiry records are retained for follow-up and can be managed by administrators.
